YouCarGO is an online platform that facilitates vehicle rentals between private individuals and businesses. YouCarGO does not own, operate, control, or manage any of the vehicles listed on the platform. By using YouCarGO, users acknowledge that they enter into rental agreements directly with each other, and YouCarGO acts solely as an intermediary.

2. Limitation of Liability

YouCarGO is not responsible for:

The accuracy of listings, including descriptions, images, and conditions of vehicles.

The actions or inactions of users, including vehicle owners and renters.

Any damage, theft, accidents, or legal infractions that occur during the rental period.

Mechanical failures or defects in rented vehicles.

Disputes between users regarding rentals, cancellations, payments, or damages.

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

3. User Responsibilities

Users must provide accurate and truthful information when listing a vehicle or booking a rental.

Any falsified documentation, misleading photos, or misrepresented vehicle details will result in penalties, including but not limited to a CHF 2,000 fine, without the possibility of contesting the charge.

Renters are responsible for returning vehicles in the same condition as received and complying with all terms agreed upon with the vehicle owner.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 48 hours before the rental start date.

If a cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start date, the renter will be charged 50% of the total booking amount as compensation to the vehicle owner.

In cases of disputes, YouCarGO may facilitate communication but will not be held liable for resolving conflicts or providing refunds.

5. Amendments to Terms

YouCarGO reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
