YouCarGO is a peer-to-peer platform designed to help private individuals rent and share vehicles in a simple, safe, and transparent way. We provide the technology and secure infrastructure that allows users to list, discover, and book vehicles directly from each other. However, we do not own, manage, or inspect any of the vehicles listed on our platform.

By using our services, both vehicle owners (“Owners”) and renters (“Users”) acknowledge that YouCarGO acts solely as an intermediary. The rental agreement is established directly between the two parties, and YouCarGO is not a party to that contract. This means that we are not responsible for the mechanical condition of the vehicle, its roadworthiness, insurance coverage, or any events that may occur during the rental period. Owners are responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with all legal requirements, and users are expected to operate the vehicle responsibly and in compliance with local laws.

All payments are handled through YouCarGO’s secure platform. When a user books a vehicle, the rental payment is processed, and the YouCarGO service fee is charged at the time of booking. The remaining funds are held securely until the rental is completed. Once the vehicle has been returned and no issues are reported, the rental amount (minus commission) is released to the owner.

To ensure transparency and sustainability, YouCarGO operates under a clear commission structure. From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026, a 7,5% commission is charged to both the renter and the owner. Starting from 1 January 2027, this commission will increase to 10%, unless otherwise specified. Changes to this structure will always be communicated in advance and clearly displayed before confirming any transaction.

While we do our best to offer a secure and trustworthy experience, users agree that YouCarGO is not liable for any damages, losses, traffic violations, delays, or disputes that may arise during the use of a rented vehicle. In the event of a dispute, YouCarGO may facilitate communication between the parties, but we do not assume responsibility for mediation or compensation.
